      How do you follow a new opportunity list?

      In this article, you learn how to follow new opportunities lists.

      What is a New Opportunities List?


      A new opportunity list is a collection of tenders that meet your set filters within Altura. By following this list, you automatically get an overview of relevant opportunities without having to continuously monitor other sources such as TenderNed.

      What happens when you follow a new opportunities list?

      When you follow a new opportunity list, you:

      • Automatically stay informed about relevant tenders.

      • Receive a summary email every morning with new opportunities from the past 24 hours.

      • Don't miss important opportunities because the filters are accurately set.

      Step-by-step: How to follow a new opportunity list.

      Navigate to “New Opportunities".

      • From the sidebar on the left, click on “New Opportunities".

      If you are not already following a new opportunity list:

      Step 1: Follow a new opportunity list

      • If you are not already following an opportunity list, you will now see a notification that you are not currently following a new opportunity list.

      • Click on the big blue button, Follow a new opportunity list.

      Step 2: Select the desired opportunity list

      • A popup appears listing the available new opportunity lists.

      • Behind each list is a button with a bell icon.

      • Click on this bell icon to follow the list.

      Result: Your new opportunity list is now populated with tenders that meet your set filters. In addition, you will receive an email every morning with new opportunities published in the last 24 hours.


      Step 3: Check the list

      • Return to the New Opportunities module.

      • The list may be empty at first. This is normal: it may take a while for new opportunities to appear.

      If you are already following an opportunity list

      Step 1: Open the additional options menu

      • For this, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the “New Opportunities” module.

      Step 2: Choose “New opportunity lists'

      • Select the 'New opportunity lists' option from the dropdown menu.

      Step 3: Select the desired opportunity list

      • A popup appears listing the available new opportunity lists.

      • Behind each list is a button with a bell icon.

      • Click on this call icon to follow the list.

      Result: The new opportunity list is now added to your existing lists. You will still receive the daily notification email with new opportunities.


      What if no opportunities are visible yet?

      If you don't see any new opportunities after some time:

      • Check that the filters are set correctly.
      • Compare the results with other sources, such as TenderNed.
      • If in doubt, contact support at support@altura.io.
      By following these steps, you will ensure that you make the best use of Altura's new opportunity list and do not miss any important tenders.
