Steps to Create a New Opportunity List

Go to Settings

To create a new opportunity list, start from the main menu:

  • Go to Settings in the menu bar on the left.

Open the 'New Opportunities' Settings

  • Click on the New Opportunities block on the settings page. This will take you to the settings page for new opportunity lists.

Create a New Opportunity List

  • Click + Create List of New Opportunities.

Enter the Name and Description

  • Provide a clear name for the new opportunity list.

  • Optionally, add a description so others know what the list is for.

Add Filters

  • To add filters, click + Add Filter Collection.

  • The available filters are:

    • Status

    • CPV Codes

    • Keywords

    • Location

    • Value

    • Phase

    • Award Criteria

    • Tender Type

    • Publication Date

    • Expiration Date

    • Publication Source

    • Document Scanner

Filters ensure you can create a targeted search profile.

Tip: You can create usecase specific lists, for example:

  • Active/open tenders

  • Expected tenders

It’s useful to keep these lists separate for better clarity.

Save the Filter Collection and Opportunity List

Once you've configured all desired filters:

  • Give the filter collection a name

  • Click Save

You’ll then also need to save the opportunity list itself by clicking Save again.

Repeat Steps for Multiple Lists

Want to create multiple opportunity lists?

  • Click + Add New Opportunity List again

  • Repeat the steps above.

Important Considerations When Using Filters

1. Strict Application of Filters:

  • Keywords are applied strictly. Misspellings, alternate spellings, or variants will not be recognized.

  • Keywords must exactly match the wording in the title or description of the tender.

2. AND Logic vs. OR Logic:

  • Within one filter collection, the 'AND' logic applies to all filters (e.g., CPV codes and keywords must both be met).

  • For 'OR' logic (e.g., multiple CPV codes or keywords):

    • Create separate filter collections:
      a. One for CPV codes
      b. One for keywords
