Follow and process new opportunities
New opportunity lists provide a convenient way to keep a handle on all the new tenders coming in. This guide tells you how to track and process new opportunities so you don't miss out on valuable tenders.
What are New Opportunities?
The New Opportunities page provides an overview of the latest tenders that match the new opportunity lists you are following. Here you can view, approve or reject new tenders and process them in your projects.
How do you follow a new list of opportunities?
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner.
- Select New Opportunity Lists
-
- Select the new opportunity lists you want to follow by clicking on the bell next to the list to follow it. The profile will then be added as a separate list on the "New Opportunities" page.
Please note: If you are not yet following any opportunity lists (for example, if you are just starting out), a message will appear on the page: "You are not following any lists with new opportunities!". In that case, click on the "Follow a new opportunity list" button to add a list.
What can you see on the New Opportunities page?
- Tenders: Name of the tender, contracting authority, registration deadline, status, publication date and location.
- Number of opportunities: At the top of the page, you can see how many new tenders are listed for the selected list.
Processing new opportunities
An administrator or full user can approve the new opportunities by clicking the check mark or reject them by clicking the x. Before you can completely reject an opportunity, you must select a reason for rejection and provide an explanation. If you reject the tender, it will only be stored in the archive. When you approve a tender, it will be placed on the project board you select and you will see this action in the archive. Only the admin and the full user can approve or reject the new opportunities.
Opening the archive
Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "Open archive". Here you can:
- See whether a tender has been approved or rejected.
- View information such as the reason for rejection, explanation, processing date and user.
- Filter by processing date and status (approved or rejected).
